About me
Hi, I'm Elena
I'm a registered dietitian with the HCPC and a full member of the British Dietetic Association, with over 8 years of experience helping people transform their health through nutrition across both NHS and private practice.
Originally from Romania, I moved to the UK over 9 years ago after completing my Bachelor's with Honours in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and my Master's in Clinical and Community Nutrition. Coming here on my own shaped how I practice today — I treat every client as I would want my own family back home to be treated: with empathy, professionalism, and genuine care.
Since arriving in the UK, I've worked across community health, primary care, and private hospital settings, supporting thousands of individuals through 1:1 consultations, group education sessions, and voluntary sector projects. I've also had the privilege of presenting at international nutrition conferences, sharing evidence-based insights with fellow healthcare professionals.
My Approach
I believe in holistic, evidence-based care that puts you at the center. I don't believe in restrictive diets or quick fixes. Instead, we'll work together to understand your unique situation, cut through the confusion, and build small, sustainable changes that create confidence and lead to long-term results.
My Specialist Interests
Women's Health & Fertility – This is my passion, inspired by both my professional training and personal experience navigating the complexities of women's health. Research in this area is often lacking, and the internet is full of conflicting advice. Whether you're trying to conceive, managing endometriosis or PCOS, or navigating the changes of menopause, I provide expert, evidence-based guidance. I've completed comprehensive Fertility Nutrition training with Nutrition Plus Australia, qualifying me as a Certified Fertility Dietitian with advanced expertise to support your journey.
Digestive Health & IBS – I'm trained in the Low FODMAP diet at King's College London and have helped countless clients resolve their IBS symptoms through a personalized, evidence-based approach. Having IBS myself, I truly understand how distressing and life-limiting it can be – and I know first hand that there is a way forward.
Disordered Eating – I help clients reset their relationship with food, moving away from restriction and diet culture toward sustainable, nourishing habits that support both physical and mental wellbeing.
Plant-Based & Vegetarian Diets – Whether you're motivated by health, ethics, or environmental concerns, I support clients in transitioning to plant-based eating patterns that are nutritionally complete, delicious, and kind to the planet.
My Qualifications
Beyond my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, I've recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate as a First Contact Practitioner with Health Science University. This advanced training has strengthened my clinical expertise and evidence-based practice, enhancing my ability to identify when additional medical support is needed and ensure you receive comprehensive, safe care.
Beyond the Clinic
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me volunteering with the British Dietetic Association and at a local cat shelter, hiking in the mountains, cycling through nature, or experimenting in the kitchen. I'm a qualified chef and love sharing practical, nourishing recipes with my clients – because food should be about connection and joy as much as health.
I'm here to help you take control of your health with confidence and compassion. Let's work together.
